We're starting to move into fall, Ken's favorite time of year. I hate that he's not here to see the seasons change. We always enjoyed taking our pups and going on a drive to find fall colors; then finding a place
to let them run-a-muck.
Life just keeps moving on whether I'm ready for it to or not. Soon it will be Ken's birthday, then two weeks later mine.
We hadn't done much to celebrate our birthdays over the last couple of years, sad to say. I'm hitting the Big 5-0 this year, so I'm hoping to be up for a celebration.
It's still so hard to think of a life without Ken in it. Each day is better than the one before and tomorrow I expect to be better than today.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's annual Out of the Darkness Walks are now taking place all over the country. I'm gathering a group that will walk with our dogs in honor of Ken at our local walk. Looking forward to it! We HAVE to bring light
to those in darkness! We HAVE to help those who can't or aren't willing to help themselves!
