Life After Suicide Sucks Support Group

Are you struggling after the suicide death of a loved one?  Find comfort, strength, and healing from people who share and understand your pain.

At our Life After Suicide Sucks support group meetings we share our struggles with grief and our coping suggestions about what does or does not work.  We share our frustrations and questions. We share our victories over depression and grief.  We offer support, encouragement, and information through our shared experiences.

It is a safe place to express yourself in a caring, compassionate environment. We take this journey together while we help each other cope and find a new normal.

  • Fourth Thursday of Each Month
  • 6:00pm ~ 7:30pm

The meetings are free!  Please contact Rusty prior to attending to ensure that meeting date has not changed. (This only happens occasionally.)

Paula "Rusty" Westeren founded this group in hopes of helping others who have had a loved one die by suicide. She has struggled to find a way to heal and create a new normal in the aftermath of witnessing her husband take his life in March 2013. This group is about reaching out and finding strength.

Ken's choice was not in anyway your fault. My step father of 33 years decided to hang himself at the age of 91. Heartbreaking, the grief is different- as stated
